Mr. Anil D. Jha - Founder/CEO

A pioneer in the development of Continuous Electrodeionization (CEDI) Technology currently the most advanced electrochemical water treatment technology in the market today. Mr. Jha has over 30 years of water treatment industry experience. Mr. Jha is one of the key inventors of HydroNovation technology. Previously, Mr. Jha worked for Millipore Corporation, Sterimatics Corporation (a venture backed firm developing water treatment devices for medical applications), Liquipure Corporation (a venture backed water treatment company acquired by US Filter) and Siemens Water Technology Corp. as VP of R&D. Mr. Jha has held variety of positions in the companies listed above including GM of Laboratory Water Systems Group at US Filter and as Manager of Business Development at Sterimatics Corporation.

 

Mr. John S. Swartley - Business Development & Marketing Advisor

Retired from U. S. Filter Corporation where he was Senior VP, Corporate Development. Prior to joining U. S. Filter, Mr. Swartley was Founder/CEO of Liquipure Technologies Inc. (a startup venture funded by Warburg, Pincus and acquired by U.S. Filter). Previously, Mr. Swartley was a Corporate VP at the Olin Corporation and President of the Olin Consumer Products Division, His background also includes over 17 years of consumer marketing and management experience at General Foods.

 

Mr. Mark G. Bertler – Vice President of Sales and Marketing

Mr. Bertler is an executive with proven achievements in general management, business analytics, international operations, manufacturing, M&A, sales and marketing. His primary focus has been residential, commercial and municipal water treatment markets. His experience includes VP Business Development and Strategic Marketing at Pentair Water, VP/GM Water Treatment Group at Sta-Rite Industries and GM mid west region at USFilter Corporation.

 

Mr. Jeff Barnes – Chairman Board of Directors

A General Partner of Clean Pacific Ventures. Prior to founding CPV, he spearheaded business development and marketing for Novazone now Purfresh, a venture-backed clean technology water and food purification company Increasing from $3Mto $105M in value with a long list of Fortune 500customers. Mr. Barnes also was the first marketing and business development executive of two successful technology start-ups,VocalPoint (acquired by Telecom Italia) and Acendl. Previously, he spent 5 years at Bain & Company in the Private Equity and Technology practices consulting to private equity funds and to major technology companies.

 

Mr. Ramandeep Mehmi – Director of Engineering

Mr. Mehmi is a Chemical Engineer with several years experience in fuel cell technology including, process engineering, system engineering and cell/stack testing/building. He worked as a Research Scientist at PolyFuel Inc. and as a Fuel Cell Engineer at Oorja Protonics Inc.  Mr. Mehmi joined HydroNovation in midyear 2009 and has contributed significantly in both process and product development as well as testing of prototype systems both in house and at customer sites.

 

Mr. Peter Naylor – Manager System Controls

Mr. Naylor is a talented embedded systems engineer with proven success in prototype design and delivery. He has over 5 years experience in systems engineering utilizing programming, microcontrollers and analog circuitry. Mr. Naylor has consulted for HydroNovation for past two years and has contributed significantly to the development of system controls for HydroNovation's prototype systems. Previously Mr. Naylor was Project Engineer and Business Development associate at Poly Fuel Inc.
